Beyond KS2 …

As part of the Primary curriculum offer children are taught by subject specialists from the secondary departments - Drama, PE and Forest School.

Lunchtimes are when Primary join with secondary pupils in one of the day units

There are a number of whole school events where KS2, 3 and 4 collaborate – Talent show, London Chamber Orchestra, School choir, Hackathon day.

There is a planned progression to Key Stage 3 which begins for Year 6 pupils during the summer term. This is adapted according to the needs of each cohort. The transition plan can include:

·         Lessons with Primary teacher in Secondary classroom.

·         Join in social times of break with the senior pupils closely supported by primary LSAs

·         Meet and work with secondary staff

·         Lessons with Secondary teachers

·         Transition days with new members of their cohort

·         Senior teachers visit Primary to spend time with the children in class

·         Social story/photograph record of Secondary classrooms and teachers
