Information for Students

Bags and Coats

You will leave all your bags and coats and devices in your units at the start of the day. These will be looked after for you until the end of the day when you travel home or go back to your residential unit. All stationery and equipment will be provided for you throughout the day by your teachers and support staff.

Phones

Phones and digital devices are not permitted during the school day. If you have one with you when you travel in to school you will be asked to hand it in, it will be locked away and stored safely until the end of the day. This will help you to concentrate in lessons and allow you to connect in the real world with other young people during the day.

Ask for help

All the staff on campus are here to help. You are allocated a link or key worker as well as a tutor but you can talk to any member of staff on campus. We ask that you reach out for help instead of struggling on by yourself. We will be here to support and guide you every step of the way. We will be here to help rebuild relationships after crisis and we will be here to celebrate the successes.

CEOP helps any child or young person under the age of 18 who is being pressured, forced or tricked into taking part in sexual activity of any kind. This can be something that has taken place either online or in ‘the real world’, or both. The CEOP Safety Centre has clear information and advice on what can be reported to CEOP, the reporting process and what will happen if you do decide to make a report.
