The Earthquake and the Tsunami

There was a boy called Alex. He had long blonde hair and small brown eyes. He was walking along the road to visit the Red Fort when suddenly the ground started to shake. He thought he was imagining things when suddenly he turned to see a giant wave looming. It scooped up Alex and put him at the top of the wave. From there the city looked the size of a bug.

When the Tsunami finished he was dripping wet so he tried to find his way back to the hotel to dry off. When he arrived at the hotel he could not believe his eyes. The hotel and the surrounding buildings were crushed to bits. The people at the hotel were shocked and were staring at the remains of the building, crying and frozen to the spot. They were calling their loved ones to let them know they were ok and told them what had just happened. Someone came up to him and said “Hi my name’s Ben what’s your name”? ‘ Uhhh Alex.

Alex was confused he didn’t know who this guy was. Why would some guy just come up to him and tell his name. Alex asked him some questions.

‘’so how old are you” Alex said in an awkward way. “Uhhh 26”. “24 Said Alex.”

“So is there something you wanted Ben”. “Well there is something,’ said Ben quietly.

“Well… I’m looking for a home and maybe I can live with you”. Alex had lost his words. “Well since I’m the most caring person on the planet,” said Alex in an arrogant way. “Of course you can… I guess”. “Oh My God Thank You! Finally I have a home”. “What?” Alex said in a shocked way”. “It’s a long story.” “So my mum, my brother and I were walking to a hotel then suddenly the ground started to shake we all held on to each other then suddenly a giant wave came and swooped up my

Mum and brother and I never saw them again.”

“I’m so sorry said Alex in a sad way”.

“That’s all right said Ben looking down”.

“Come on said Alex in a quiet way”.

Alex and Ben were trying to think where they could stay.

“I know my flight back to England is tomorrow said Alex”. “Could I come on your flight?” said Ben. “Course you can said Alex”. “I’m sure they will let you on the flight because of the Tsunami” said Alex in a cool way.

“Have you got your stuff said Alex”. “No”. “It got washed away in the Tsunami” Said Ben looking at the smashed buildings. They slept on the streets that night. But they weren’t feeling sad they were feeling excited.

When they arrived back in England they said their goodbyes.

“Maybe you don’t have to” said Alex.

“What said Ben” confusedly. “You can come and live with me if you want to”

“That’s amazing said Ben”. “Thank you so much”. They lived happily ever after.
